FOOD RELATED SUGGESTIONS

  • Fruits and vegetables emit ethylene gases. Exposing produce to ethylene gas speeds up the ripening process, causing It to overripe and go bad. Locksy Vacuum valve release the gas that build up in the container and prevents external air from reaching the content inside and keep the food fresh longer by creating vacuum seal periodically.
  • When storing foods for an extended time, periodically check the vacuum indicator,as temperature and pressure changes can affect the vacuum seal.
  • Condensation on the lid is normal, especially in the refrigerator. If large droplets occur, dry the lid and reseal. This will prevent moisture from affecting your food.
  • While microwaving foods, For 'VAC' series - make sure lever is in open position allowing steam to escape and close lever to keep foods warm until serving.
For 'AIR' series - Always remove lid before reheating.
